In recent months Confindustria has made itself spokesperson for the need to strengthen the nationwide vaccination campaign, proposing – in order to enhance the network of designated sites – the use of spaces available to companies.
In this regard, while awaiting determination of the specific protocols the pandemic task force announced to the social parties, the general confederation of Italian businesses in early March began to map the entire associative system. Associations throughout Italy and in all sectors – including Confindustria Marmomacchine – in fact received a questionnaire to send their members to pinpoint the companies concretely available to function as “community-makers” and thus be suitable for configuration as vaccination sites, thereby multiplying those already active in Italy in this delicate phase of emerging from the pandemic.

According to Confindustria, “an absolute priority is vaccinating as many people as possible, rapidly and efficiently. Only in so doing will Italy be able to defeat the pandemic, drastically reduce the tragic number of victims and more quickly and solidly re-launch the livelihoods, work and incomes of all Italians”.
