Webinar: “Stone Processing Machinery and Auxiliary Equipment Industry Market in the US”

On February 23 a webinar organized by ICE-Italian Trade Agency was held, during which there was presentation of the sector study conducted together with Confindustria Marmomacchine in 2020 and devoted to exploring the natural stone processing industry in the United States and the business opportunities for Italian companies in their various fields of expertise.

The webinar’s main speaker was Lisa Kennedy, a market analyst and researcher, who collaborated with ICE Chicago – which covers the stone-working machinery and auxiliary equipment sectors in the US – in conducting the study.

Interesting points emerged from the survey, which paid particular attention to the different types of demand, moreover highlighting the geographical areas of local and foreign competitors, painting an overall picture of the aspects tied to distribution methods and market trends. In fact, the idea shared with Confindustria Marmomacchine was to provide in-depth knowledge of the current American market in order to give member companies a guide to building future business strategies that is well-informed and knowledgeable.

Speaking at the end of the event was Flavio Marabelli, Honorary President of Confindustria Marmomacchine, who cited the calendar of technical-promotional events the association has planned for the United States market.
