CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE took part in BATIMATEC 2025, the leading construction industry trade show on the African continent, which concludes today in Algiers. With the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), particularly its office in Algiers, the Association organized an ITALIAN AREA in Pavilion G1 of the Palais des Expositions – Pins Maritimes in the Algerian capital.

Algeria confirms its role as a strategic partner for our sector: in 2024, Algerian imports of Italian machinery for natural stone processing exceeded 13.7 million euros, while imports of stone materials reached 11 million euros (including 6.5 million in raw materials), bringing the total value of the Italian stone industry’s exports to Algeria close to 25 million euros.
Participation in BATIMATEC once again proved to be a valuable opportunity to maintain a strong presence in a dynamic and growing market, increasingly interested in Italian know-how for stone processing.
