Renewed the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Italian Stone Industry

On July 14, 2025, in Milan, the renewal of the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Stone Industry was signed by CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, ANEPLA and the trade unions FILLEA-CGIL, FENEAL-UIL, and FILCA CISL.

The new three-year agreement introduces significant innovations in terms of wages and welfare, as well as social protections and measures to combat gender-based violence.

Among the main points, the agreement provides for wage increases that nonetheless keep labour cost growth within an economically sustainable threshold for companies. These increases also take into account the inflation spike of the last three years, restoring workers’ purchasing power in a balanced way.

The agreement also strengthens complementary pension schemes and supplementary healthcare for employees in the sector, introduces an extraordinary welfare bonus, new rights regarding leave and training, and includes a protocol for the prevention of violence against women—an especially progressive feature among current contract renewals.
