MIDDLE EAST STONE 2021: a collective Italian area coordinated by ICE and Confindustria Marmomacchine

ICE-Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with Confindustria Marmomacchine will organize the collective participation of Italian stone companies at the 2021 MIDDLE EAST STONE show, to be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from September 12 to 15.

We remind readers that for a number of years MIDDLE EAST STONE has been the reference event in the United Arab Emirates for the stone and allied sectors, and this re-launch edition, after the show’s cancellation last year, promises to be an indispensable showcase for Italian companies – which in 2019 were the largest foreign contingent at the event, with 27 brands -, a hub in which to meet with the most important operators, architects, interior designers, contractors and builders from the entire Gulf area and Middle East.

On the statistical level, according to data processed by the Confindustria Marmomacchine Studies Center, in 2020 Italy’s exports of finished products in marble, granite and other natural stones to the Emirates amounted to worth of nearly 30 million euros, an amount that put the Persian Gulf country in ninth place among sector markets.

Exhibitors will be able to take advantage of the “Special 2020 support measures” enabling them to have an initial 12-square-meter display space free of charge, while assignment of the stands and their location will be made according to the arrival date of participation applications until all available space has been exhausted.
