ICE-Agency and CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE are organizing the collective participation of Italian stone sector companies at the BAU 2023 show, to be held in Munich, Germany from April 17 to 22. Thanks to the event’s inclusion in the ICE promotional plan backed by the association, companies can acquire the pre-mounted modules comprising the collective at special discounts.
According to official sector statistics processed by the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Studies Center, in the first 8 months of 2022 Germany was the number-two market (following the US) for finished Italian products in marble, travertine, granite and natural stones in general, with imports worth 108.5 million euros, up 17.2% from the same period the previous year.

We remind readers that BAU is an international biennial event specifically devoted to architecture, building materials and technologies, and is the most important show for the building/design sector in Europe. Thanks to the broad range of products it presents, the event attracts various types of qualified visitors such as architects, civil engineers, producers of building materials, building contractors and planners.
In 2019 the show had 2,250 exhibitors from 45 countries and more than 250,000 visitors from all over the world. Due to the pandemic and restrictions to contain the spread of Covid-19, the 2021 in-person edition was not held, the organizers having decided to postpone the event directly to 2023.
