After the events in Algiers, Washington, and Puebla, the exhibition “MARMO Carving the Future” exhibited from December 20 until January 14 2025 at the Foundry Downtown Dubai exhibition space in the United Arab Emirates.
The project was promoted and organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) in collaboration with CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, ITA Italian Trade Agency, and under the creative direction of Magister Art. The exhibition has been realized in close synergy with the Association, thanks to the iconographic and material contributions provided by Associated Companies.
This stage in the United Arab Emirates has also been organized with the institutional and logistical support of the Italian Embassy in Dubai and the Italian Consulate General.

“MARMO Carving the Future” offered as always an immersive sound experience with high visual impact, guiding visitors on an emotionally and tactilely resonant journey through the modernity of Italy’s techno-lithic industry. At the same time, it establishes an ideal dialogue between the contemporary industrial and artisanal processes of working with marble and natural stones and the historical and artistic roots of the industry, such as the Roman era, the Renaissance, the Baroque period, and Neoclassicism.
Through a digital and multimedia pathway, visitors can explore modern processing and transformation technologies while discovering how today’s advancements are the legacy of masters like Michelangelo, Bernini, and Canova. These artists skillfully shaped marble to create iconic sculptures such as Cupid and Psyche, Moses, and Apollo and Daphne.
The global tour of “MARMO Carving the Future” will continue in the coming months with stops in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
