Ho Chi Minh City: CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE at the First Edition of ASEAN STONE

Confirming its commitment to supporting the industry in an ever-evolving international landscape and promoting the best of the made in Italy and interantional techno-marble supply chain worldwide, CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE participated in the first edition of ASEAN STONE VIETNAM, a key trade fair dedicated to the ornamental stone sector and related processing technologies, held from December 11 to 13 at the SECC Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair took place alongside ASEAN Ceramics, Glass Tech Asia, and Fenestration Asia, a combination of events that made ASEAN STONE VIETNAM the ideal meeting point to connect with producers and industry operators across the Southeast Asian region.

Alongside CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, leading Italian companies in the sector participated in ASEAN STONE, including:
ABRA IRIDE, BRETON, COMANDULLI, MARMOMACCHINE INTERNATIONAL, PEDRINI, and SIMEC.

The CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Booth Meeting Point once again provided a dedicated space for meetings and networking with key market players.

Vietnam represents a fast-growing market and a strategic partner for Italian companies in the natural stone sector. In 2023, Italian industry exports—including natural stones, machinery, and equipment for their processing—reached a value of over $7.1 million.

Moreover, Vietnam ranks as the seventh largest destination market for Made in Italy in the broader machine tool sector, with a 34% growth in the past year and a continuing upward trend.

At the same time, the contract sector offers significant opportunities, with a growing demand for high-quality design and furnishing solutions. This trend is driven by urbanization and rising incomes, which are fueling the development of high-end real estate projects.

Vietnam’s construction sector has recorded a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 10% in recent years, positioning it among the most dynamic markets in Asia.

With substantial infrastructure and residential investments, Vietnam provides an ideal business environment for Italian companies looking to expand their presence in the dynamic ASEAN region.
