Following the indications emerging from members and the outcomes of the final report written by the Designation Committee that in recent months has worked – as per the association’s statute – towards appointing the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE president for 2020/2022, the board of Confindustria Marmomacchine, united on Mat 14th in a video conference – and in secret balloting on the accredited EUGO platform – has designated as candidate for president of the association for the 2020/2022 term its current president MARCO DE ANGELIS (GDA Marmi e Graniti).

In the final report presented to the board – and available to all members wishing to have a copy – the Designation Committee also emphasized the general feeling of esteem and appreciation for all the self-candidates presented in the course of designation.
During the meeting the association’s board, in consideration of the current restrictions on congress-holding, decided to postpone the 2020 General Assembly (initially scheduled for May 28) to a date to be announced. Among the other tasks foreseen by the statute and because of the above, the 2020 General Assembly will be called upon to definitively vote for President Designate Marco DE ANGELIS for CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE for 2020/2022.
