Top representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), ICE-Italian Trade Agency and CONFINDUSTRIA present.
June 10 was the date for the 2022 General Assembly of CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, an assessment and planning event not only for the association but for the entire Italian stone/techno-stone industry, thanks to the presence of top government officials: of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), represented by the director of integrated promotion and innovation for promoting Italy, Inc., Min. Plen. Cecilia PICCIONI; of ICE-Italian Trade Agency, represented by its president, Carlo Maria FERRO, and of CONFINDUSTRI, represented by its vice-president for internationalization, Barbara BELTRAME GIACOMELLO.
The Assembly was also greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Hon. Luigi DI MAIO.
Balloting during the meeting led to the election of CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE President for the next 2022/2024 term:
- Federico FRACCAROLI – Fraccaroli e Balzan Spa
And vice-presidents for the same term:
- Francesco Antolini – Antolini Luigi & C. Spa;
- Dorian Campagnola – CMS Spa;
- Mario Caroselli Leali – Sassomeccanica Spa;
- Valentina Trois – Simin Srl Gruppo Sardegna Marmi.
During the assembly, in addition to speeches by outgoing president Marco DE ANGELIS and Honorary President in charge of official relations, Flavio Marabelli, there was also presentation by the MAECI of an important project, “MARMO: Carving the Future”, the first endeavor at integrated foreign promotion launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation that chose the stone industry as pilot sector for this innovative formula of foreign promotion.
