CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE’s participation in the 2024 edition of MARMOMAC – the stone industry show with global resonance held in Verona from September 24 to 17 – was intense and eventful. The association offered numerous services for members present at the event as exhibitors or visitors, starting from the showcase of its Meeting Point, dubbed “The Blue Box”. As usual, it was the fulcrum of the heavy calendar of official appointments for the association and frequented by a great many operators and association members who opted to hold their business meetings at the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE stand. Among the principal countries whose delegations visited the Meeting Point and had meetings with association executives worth mentioning are certainly Algeria, Ethiopia, India, Iran, Turkey, UK, US and Vietnam.
CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE was present at MARMOMAC 2024 along with 210 member companies participating as direct exhibitors, again this year receiving a WELCOME KIT containing a copy of the association’s DIRECTORY, “Member of CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE” badges and the highly requested “blue Italia” badge holder.
And during MARMOMAC it was possible take a close look at the association’s promotional plan for the coming months, in particular the calendar for its participation in the international tradeshows held on major markets worldwide, participations that accompany members to these markets and strengthen their internationalization.
Finally – and referring readers to other brief news items in our magazine for details about meetings and special projects -, at MARMOMAC the association also presented the Italian stone industry’s export data for the first half of 2024 – analyzed and examined in the following pages – and provided information to all companies interested in the status of UNI, CEN and ISO standardization work.
