Applications are now open for the Italian Companies Pavilion organized by ICE Agency, in collaboration with our Trade Association, CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, at the MARBLE&STONE SAUDI 2025 trade fair. This event will take place as part of BIG 5 SAUDI at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center (RFECC) in Riyadh (SAUDI ARABIA) from February 24 to 27, 2025.
Now in its 13th edition, this exhibition is one of the Gulf region’s leading events for the construction sector, serving as a key platform for building materials and construction technologies. It attracts a specialized audience of buyers, contractors, entrepreneurs, and private real estate investors.
Saudi Arabia is experiencing a pivotal economic transformation with ambitious initiatives such as Saudi Vision 2030 and significant projects in tourism and infrastructure. The Kingdom also stands out as the largest producer and consumer of building materials in the Middle East.
According to GlobalData, Saudi Arabia’s construction market reached $133 billion USD in 2022 and is projected to grow at an average annual rate of over 4% from 2024 to 2027. Italian-made technologies for natural stone extraction and processing, along with raw and finished stone materials, are performing strongly in Saudi Arabia’s import market for construction materials and technologies.
Recent data from the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Research Center reveals that in the first eight months of 2024, Saudi Arabia imported over €85 million worth of raw, processed, and semi-processed stone materials, as well as Italian stone-processing technologies—a significant increase compared to the same period in 2023. This positions Saudi Arabia as the 10th most important destination market globally for “Made in Italy” products in this sector.
