Office closure for the Christmas holidays and Season’s Greetings from the president

For the Christmas holidays the association’s offices will be closed from December 28 to January 8.

Work will begin regularly again on Monday, January 11, 2021.

Wishing everyone holidays that are as serene as possible, the following letter brings Season’s Greetings from our president, Marco De Angelis.

Dear Members,

At the end of an extremely complex year in which all our companies have had to deal with unprecedented scenarios and challenges, I send you, your employees and all your loved ones my sincerest best wishes for the Christmas holidays, which I hope will be as serene as possible, although constrained by the still ongoing health emergency.

As you know, in spite of these limitations, this year, too, we were able to celebrate our traditional occasion of encounter, our General Assembly, a context in which I renewed our commitment – also on behalf of the association’s entire governance team – to be always as willing and available as possible to meet the demands of member companies, as we have tried to do in these terrible months when we were called upon to respond to the growing disorientation of our business people and the loss of our habitual reference points.

This is why, even at the end of this year and with the prospect of coming months that will still be very complex and perhaps even more challenging, I remain convinced that we need to base our restart on the value of an associative community like ours, on our tenacity and on the resilience and perseverance we have demonstrated at this historic time.

Together with our vice presidents, our board and all the association’s staff, I therefore renew the invitation to consider us always available to listen to every request or problem that you bring to our attention. For our part we will continue to demand from policy-makers and those tasked with leading our country out of the emergency the right responses and support, although convinced that, for recovery to be possible, we must first of all depend on ourselves, on our desire to resist and on our capacity for work and endeavor. With the strength and determination that we have shown in these months and that we demonstrate each day in the enthusiasm with which we undertake our role as business people both inside and outside our companies.

So it is with this will and commitment to always listen that I personally wish you and your loved ones a holiday season as joyful as we are conceded, along with the hope that we can gather again soon to share in the events and meetings and moments of aggregation fundamental to the growth not only of our sector but also of our common home.

With sincerest best wishes,

Marco De Angelis
