From February 4 to 6, CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE participated in SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2025, a specialized industry trade fair held at the Business Design Centre in London (UK).
At SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2025, the Association organized—in close collaboration with ITA-Italian Trade Agency and as part of the Promotional Program for the sector promoted by CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)—a large ITALY AREA, featuring the following companies:

The CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE-ITA Meeting Point at SURFACE DESIGN SHOW—with its well-established reception and assistance services for members attending as exhibitors or visitors—saw strong engagement from industry professionals and guests, both from Italy and internationally.
At SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2025, the team of Italian companies participating in the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE – ITA Collective Area presented itself backed by positive market data. According to the latest statistics compiled by the Association’s Study Center, during the first ten months of 2024, the United Kingdom confirmed its position as a top buyer of Italian industry products.
In the mentioned period, the export of Processed and Semi-Processed “Made in Italy” Products to the United Kingdom grew by 9.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching an export value of over €54.5 million.
Expanding the analysis, the export of Italian Machinery, Plants, and Stone Technologies to the UK also recorded growth in the first ten months of 2024, increasing by 21.5% in value, with total sales reaching €40 million.
As a result, the total supply chain export to the UK during the January-October 2024 period surpassed €100 million.
