CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE, in collaboration with ICE-Agency and with support from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), organized two important group exhibits in the stone/techno-stone sector at COVERINGS 2024 (Atlanta, April 22/25), the leading tradeshow on the North American area for the coverings and surfaces sector.
According to data processed by the association’s studies center, again last year the United States was the top market for Italian finished and semi-finished stone products, with imports worth 475.7 million euros, and for extraction and processing technologies, with purchases worth 176 million. The Italian area at COVERINGS 2024 had a total of 25 companies displaying the finest stone materials and most advanced stone technologies Made in Italy:

In addition to the collective participation mentioned above, several associated companies will also be present at COVERINGS 2024 as direct exhibitors or through agents/distributors.
According to the final 2023 export data compiled by the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Study Center, the USA has confirmed its position as the primary destination market for “Made in Italy” machinery, plants, and technologies for processing, with exports to the United States exceeding 176.5 million euros.
The United States is also the primary market for Italian processed and semi-processed stone products, with imports from Italy surpassing 475.6 million euros in 2023.
