Turnover at the top of the association: <strong>Gianluca Pellegrino (Basaltina) was elected the new CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE president for the 2024\/2026 term<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The core of the meeting was the technical-economic report from Honorary President in charge of official relations, <strong>Flavio Marabelli<\/strong>, who described the sector\u2019s trends and the association\u2019s numerous projects in support of its companies. Overall, with more than <strong>3,200 companies and 34,000 employees, revenue of 4.5 billion euros, a heavy propension to export (71.2% of production) <\/strong>and above all <strong>an annual trade surplus of more than 2.7 billion, the Italian stone\/techno-stone industry<\/strong> was confirmed again in 2023 as <strong>one of the most propulsive and excellent sectors of manufacturing Made in Italy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As stated, during the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE General Assembly there was also election of the new president for the next two years. In fact, concluding the electoral process taking place in recent months, the members\u2019 assembly chose as <strong>new president<\/strong> to guide the association for <strong>2024-2026<\/strong> <strong>Gianluca Pellegrino<\/strong>, director of BASALTINA S.r.l. \u2013 a historic company on the Italian stone scene, with offices in Rome, Bagnoregio (Viterbo) and Ascoli Piceno. Pellegrino takes over from <strong>Federico Fraccaoli<\/strong> to guide an association that in recent years has achieved important goals in terms of representation, consolidating its role as reference organization for the Italian stone\/techno-stone sector. The assembly was also called upon to elect the four vice-presidents that will work with Pellegrino until 2026: <strong>Francesco Antolini <\/strong>(Antolini Luigi &amp; C. S.p.a.), <strong>Nicoletta Caruso <\/strong>(Marmi e Graniti d\u2019Italia Sicilmarmi S.p.a.), <strong>Alessandro Ferrari <\/strong>(Tenax S.p.a.) and <strong>Flavio Stenico <\/strong>(Steinex S.r.l.).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As corollary to the assembly \u2013 which also included a videoconference speech by the Minister of Business and the Made in Italy (MIMIT), <strong>Adolfo Urso<\/strong> \u2013 there was an interesting panel discussion on <strong><em>\u201cGrowth and Internationalization between complexities and new global equilibriums\u201d<\/em><\/strong> whose participants were the Director General of ICE-Agency, <strong>Lorenzo Galanti<\/strong>, the II Office Head of the General Department for Promotion of Italy, Inc. within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Plenipotentiary Minister <strong>Alessandra Pastorelli<\/strong> and the president of VERONAFIERE, <strong>Federico Bricolo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1655\" height=\"1655\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5-1024x1024.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Progetto-senza-titolo-5.png 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1655px) 100vw, 1655px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We thank the Associate Companies that participated directly through delegation in our Assembly work:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 GAMMA SRL | A.A.T.C.
