{"id":13359,"date":"2024-05-09T14:01:32","date_gmt":"2024-05-09T14:01:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/news\/norme-europee-tipo-c\/"},"modified":"2024-05-16T15:32:53","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T15:32:53","slug":"norme-europee-tipo-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.assomarmomacchine.com\/en\/news\/norme-europee-tipo-c\/","title":{"rendered":"STONE MACHINERY Safety: Type C standards in effect"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CONFINDUSTRIA MARMMOMACCHINE<\/strong> is heavily committed to <strong>technical standardization work regarding the safety<\/strong> of \u201cMachinery and Installations for Working Natural Stones\u201d, also through holding the European <strong>Convenorship of the CEN TC 151\u2019s WG11<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the association\u2019s constant supervision of this CEN technical committee, we remind readers that, through time, numerous Type C harmonized standards have been produced that define the essential safety requisites for the following types of machines for working natural stones:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>EN 15162:2008 | Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Requirements for gang saws;<\/li>\n<li>EN 15164:2008 | Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Requirements for chain and belt-slotting machines;<\/li>\n<li>EN 15572:2015 | Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Requirements for edge finishing machines;<\/li>\n<li>EN 15571:2020 | Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Requirements for surface-finishing machines;<\/li>\n<li>EN 16564:2020 | Machines and plants for mining and tooling of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Requirements for bridge type sawing\/milling machines, included numerical control (NC\/CNC) versions;<\/li>\n<li>EN 15163-1:2022 | Machines and installations for the exploitation and processing of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Part 1: Requirements for stationary diamond wire saws;<\/li>\n<li>EN 15163-2:2022 | Machines and installations for the exploitation and processing of natural stone &#8211; Safety &#8211; Part 2: Requirements for transportable diamond wire saws:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All these standards were cited in the <strong>Official Journal of the European Union<\/strong> and are therefore harmonized standards <strong>officially in force<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The association\u2019s standardizing work \u2013 translated into finalization of the important \u201ccorpus\u201d of Technical Standards listed above \u2013 is carried out thanks also to the contribution of the <strong>Machine Technical Commission<\/strong>, in which participate the technical managers of the member companies that belong to it, supporting its work and the expert consultancies activated in particular through technical <strong>partnership with MECCANO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Currently, the following member companies belong to the CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE Machine Technical Commission:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">APUANIA CORSI | BENETTI MACCHINE | BIESSE | CMS | CO.B.A.L.M. | COMANDULLI COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE | DAZZINI | DENVER | DONATONI MACCHINE | GMM | INDUSTRIE MONTANARI DIV.
