The agreement was also backed by the <strong>Algerian Ministry of Mines and Energy<\/strong> and the <strong>Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This <strong>cooperation agreement in the stone sector<\/strong>, which foresees <strong>technology transfers and highly professional training in the latest technologies for extracting and working natural stones<\/strong>, is part of the bilateral relations between Italy and Algeria, historically excellent and currently especially positive.<\/p>\n<p>We mention that Italy is Algeria\u2019s third-ranking commercial partner globally. In regard to the <strong>stone sector<\/strong>, in 2021 Italy\u2019s exports of machines, installations, equipment and consumables for natural stone extraction and processing to the North African country amounted to nearly 20 million euros, an increase of 129% from 2020. Italy also exported more than 7 million euros worth of stone materials to Algeria in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The intergovernmental summit that witnessed the signing of this cooperation agreement preceded the <strong>ITALY-ALGERIA BUSINESS FORUM<\/strong> organized by the <strong>Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/strong> and <strong>ICE-Italian Trade Agency for the foreign promotion and internationalization of Italian companies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The stone and stone technology sector was also covered in the work done at the IV Intergovernmental Italy-Algeria Summit held [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":12,"featured_media":11163,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11168","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v22.6 -
