ICE-Italian\nTrade Agency has announced that it will organize – in collaboration with\nConfindustria Marmomacchine – a group exhibit of Italian stone companies at the\nSURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2022, to be held from February 8 to 10 next year at\nLondon\u2019s Business Design Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nSURFACE DESIGN SHOW is the main event in British shows dedicated to internal\nand external coverings\/surfaces in natural stone, ceramics and synthetic\nmaterials and is a showcase for presenting new materials and product and design\ninnovations to a specialized public consisting primarily of architects and\ninterior designers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On\nthe statistical level we can report that the United Kingdom – always one of the\nmajor markets for the Italian stone industry – in the first half of 2021\nregistered growth of 82.5% in imports of finished and semi-finished stone\nproducts Made in Italy from 2020, for total worth of 33.5 million euros (making\nit the fifth destination country after the US, Germany, Switzerland and\nFrance).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nremind readers that the project will make use of the \u201cExtraordinary support\nmeasures 2020\u201d, offering a first display module of circa 12 square meters free\nof charge.
