FEDERMACCHINE conference on "Machine Safety: New Standards and Use Aspects"

On July 6 Milan was host to a conference organized by FEDERMACCHINE – the Italian federation of instrumental goods makers, to which CONFINDUSTRIA MARMOMACCHINE belongs as representative of the stone-working machinery sector – for member companies. It was devoted to "Machine Safety: New Standards and Use Aspects", examining the problems posed by the new EC Machine Directive 2006/42 (adopted in Italy through Legislative Decree 17/2010) and the aspects of particular interest inherent to the publication or revision of the technical standards that most regard the sector.

The conference included presentation of the second, updated, version of FEDERMACCHINE's guide to this European Community directive.
